The NYRA Commodores Ball is next on the schedule. Eddy Parkers BEG II should see it's first action of the season. White Snake will be in New Orleans racing the Mardi Gras Regatta. Hope the warm winter continues and there is plenty of wind.

The 2011-2012 NYRA Winter Series is complete. Congratulations to Ed Doughty and the crew of New York Times for winning the Spinnaker Division and to Pete Thorn for winning the Non-Spin division. It was a little rainy but plenty of wind to finish up the series Saturday.

WSYC sponsored it's 1st Annual "Oyster Rock Beer Can Regatta" last Saturday. We had 5 Sunfish on the line and perfect winds. We completed 7 races.
