Crazy weather for the 2012 NCOC. Saturday racing was cancelled due to high winds. Gust up to 40 were reported at Beaufort Inlet. Sunday was a beautiful day and TeamWork took the Silver with Brown Eyed Girl taking 4 straight 2nd's. White Snake had a keel bolt come lose, so we decided to take a Spinnaker ride down the ICW and call it a day. She'll be ready for the Leukemia Cup.
If you see this burgee flying, it's not a good thing. There are lots of unofficial members of this club.
The NYRA Website has a lot of new information about upcoming regatta's and results from previous races.
The 2011-2012 NYRA Winter Series is complete. Congratulations to Ed Doughty and the crew of New York Times for winning the Spinnaker Division and to Pete Thorn for winning the Non-Spin division. It was a little rainy but plenty of wind to finish up the series Saturday.
